The Resort highlight are the 34 authentic teak rice barges, which have been converted into one and two storey luxury boat suites, and 'moored' on land just meters away from picturesque Choeng Mon beach. Each suite features a sunbathing deck, living room, dining corner, tea and coffee making facilities, fully fitted sky lit bathroom, and luxuriously appointed bedroom. The second part of the Imperial Boat House Hotel comprises of eight southern style low-rise buildings, forming three sides of a square around landscaped gardens full of fragrant tropical flowers.
All 182 spacious, airy rooms have private balconies over looking the gardens. At the bottom of the gardens a unique boat-shaped swimming pool sits invitingly beside the beach.

The Imperial Boat House Hotel has 3 main restaurants; a beach bar and air conditioned lobby lounge with live music. The Boat Café Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner with a wide selection of International and Thai cuisine. The Sala Thai is an open air Buffet restaurant with Theme nights. The Pool Bar, which is overlooking the Boat Pool and the Beach, offers a variety of drinks, cocktails and snacks. The Captain's Choice serves Northern Italian cuisine, Seafood and Royal Thai Cuisine. Guests can enjoy live Latin Jazz music with the in house Guitarist in a romantic atmosphere right on the beach.
Live entertainment at the TV ROOM for Live TV coverage of all the sports events with big screen in an air-condition room. The Manao Bar adjacent to the lobby, is an open air bar and a fine place to meet for a drink and be entertain with Live music. Beers, cocktails, snacks and happy hours during the whole day.
The Imperial Spa, which is located opposite the Main Garden Pool, provides a select range of Massage, Body, Face and Foot treatments.
