Koyao Island Resort features just 15 luxury villas designed in traditional Thai architectural style that blend graciously and peacefully into a coconut palm plantation setting. Each villa faces the beach, offers its own private garden and is equipped with every modern comfort.

The resort is on the island of Koh Yao Noi in the Bay of Phang Nga , one hour from Phuket or Krabi and two hours from Phi Phi Island . Surrounded by beautiful beaches, lush rain forests and over forty smaller islands, Koyao Island Resort is ideally situated.
Koh Yao Noi is an island where tourism has not over-developed; it is a place where a few special visitors blend in with the locals when they leave the resort on a tour. Traditional Thai lifestyle remains unchanged here and peace and privacy abound.
Emotions: Wathing the bright red orb of the sun rising from behind the distinct limestone formations in Phang Nga Bay is a mystical experience. As you sit on a deserted beach with gentle waves lapping the fine sands, and listen to the soft cooing of burong tite' (Malay turtledoves), the early morning mists swirl over the sea. Transportation services are operated by the resort. The taxi ride from Phuket International Airport to Bang Rong Pier takes around 30 minutes. The boat trip from Bang Rong Pier to the island takes approx 60 minutes. Please, inform us what time you want to be picked up at the airport and to arrange a private round trip by car from the airport and by boat to the resort. Cost is approx USD 95 per adult, 50% discount for children below 12 years of age.
Facilities:
At the center of the resort you will find the main complex comprising: a reception and lobby area; a top class restaurant excellent Thai and International dishes; a cosy bar; Internet access and a library. The staff at the resort are mainly Island people and will go out of their way to show you some of their traditional southern Thai hospitality, and there is an international staff among the management team.
Activities and day trips can be booked via reception, a variety of delightful boat trips are on offer allowing visitors to explore the surrounding islands. For guests convenience the resort provide transportation on the island and to and from destinations such as Phuket and Krabi. Baby sitting is available on request and there are books, DVDs and sports equipment for older children.
All year round, calm and inviting waters enclose the Resort's private beach. Sheltered under a palm tree, an afternoon siesta becomes a lazy must. You might also like to do some romantic beach hopping or snorkeling among coral reefs on the lonely neighboring islands. Family Villa

The family Villas were designed to ensure that a larger group of guest have the most comfortable stay on the resort. They can house up to four adults or a couple with four children. An extra twin bed is conveniently set up in the living room, facing the beach. The total area of the family villa covers 100 x 120 sqm.
