Sivalai resort is situated on stunning beach frontage property amongst 5.6 hectares, and bushland and wildlife on Trang's breathtaking on Hao-Laem Beach, Koh Mook. The resort is situated on the tip of the island with the ocean view on both sides. The resort is only 9 kilometers from the mainland and welcomes travels every season.
Getting There: There are daily flights from Bangkok to Trang by the domestic airline, Nok Air ( www.Nokair.com) or Thai Airways; train and coaches connections also have several frequent services. There are 5 flights a day from Phuket to Koh Mook by Destination Air seaplane shuttle service (www.Destinationair.com). Small coaches provide transfer services from Trang airport or train station to Kuan Tungku Pier (about 40 minutes). After that boat transfers to the island are also available. The journey to the island will take approximately 10 minutes by speed boat or 30 minutes by long tail boat. Alternatively, private rental boats are another option for transfer to Koh Mook.
About Koh Mook: Koh Mook (Muk) near Koh Kradan in Trang province and near Koh Ngai, Koh Lanta in Krabi province. There are daily flights from Phuket to Ko Mook by Destination Air Shuttle Seaplane landing in front of the two beach side resorts . Koh Mook Island is a medium size island with 2,000 inhabitants; they make their livelihoods by fishery, rubber tree plantation and simple tourist industry. There are two villages on the island, one on the east side with the pier and shop-houses, small Buddhist Temple and Mosque. The other one is a group of fisherman houses, built in the water of Phang-ka Bay.
Facilities: In the only restaurant you will find a relaxed and romantic atmosphere, which offers a fusion of European, Chinese and Thai food to please even the most discerning palate with wonderful flavors and fresh ingredients. Seafood is the resort specialty. Activities include a visit in the spectacular Emerald cave (known locally as Thom Morakot) on Koh Mook Island. Its name comes from the emerald color produced by sunlight filtered through sea water. Visitors enter the emerald cave by swimming through a hole in the ceiling of this beautiful cave.
