Jamahkiri Spa and Resort is a distinctive new luxury resort situated at the border of the ocean, with uninterrupted view of the Gulf of Thailand. Each pavilion (bungalow) is unique and it has been individually designed, and decorated with comfort and Thai elegance.
KOH TAO HAS SOME OF THE BEST DIVING SPOT IN THE GULF OF THAILAND WITH A LOT OF SPECTACULAR CORAL REEFS where can be reached by boat in less than an hour, where you can see hundreds of fish including whale sharks; see turtle and a lot more. Non-diver? Don’t worry Jamahkiri Spa & resort has a private walkway on the rocks the first of its kind and a marina with direct access to the sea, where you can rent kayak and snorkeling material.
JAMAHKIRI RESORT HAS A SPECIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH ONE OF THE BEST DIVING SCHOOL ON KOH TAO. They are professional, have good equipments and a lot of experience. Jamahkiri offer to our guest a free shuttle from/to the resort to/from the diving school at any time between 8.00 AM to 9.00 PM.
Thailand, the man asked the monkey what he thought paradise would be like.
The monkey answered " Jamahkiri reserve". SO THE MAN STARTED TO TURN THE MONKEYS VISION OF PARADISE INTO REALITY. Stemming from a deep seated passion for the monkeys, the reserve was created, which has strong ties to the Thai forestry commission, and has 8 gibbons as residents from all over Thailand. The gibbons, all rescued animals have a beautiful sanctuary in which to live out there days. These curious and animated monkeys now live life to the full and can be seen playfully swinging between the trees and plants that make up their habitat.
KOH TAO: TURTLE ISLANDS. Koh Tao translates as “Turtle Island”, so named because of it’s shape and the abundance of turtles living around the island. Being only about 21 sq km and remotely located 70 km far from the mainland. From 1933 to 1947 Koh Tao was used to jail political prisoners of the Bowaradech Uprising. Many were transferred from Koh Tarutao to Koh Tao by reason of its isolated location in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand.
The community on Koh Tao first settled when the villagers from Koh Samui and Koh Pha Ngan immigrated in 1947 to fish and to harvest coconuts on this otherwise unharvested land. During the past ten years the reputation of Koh Tao’s natural beauty, marine life and coral reefs, and tropical beaches. It soon became one of the major dive sites of South East Asia.

Feast your eyes around the room and marvel at the way nature is blended in harmony with the rich wooden decor. After your meal, why not relax with one of the delicious cocktails at the lounge bar and sit and talk to the owner, an art collector, about the many pieces of Asian art on display. Or take a game of pool and share stories with our friendly parrot.
JAMAHKIRI BOUTIQUE is nestled in the heart of Mae Haad, the main village on the island. From here you can arrange to visit the Spa to indulge in a few hours of luxurious treatment. Also the free pick up service is on offer to transport you to heaven. There is a full range of beneficial health products on offer from soaps to face packs which are all created and used at our spa using local plant extracts, so why not take home a little bit of paradise.
WALK DOWN THE STAIRWAY AND IT'S LIKE WALKING INTO A WONDERLAND:
The only sounds you can here are the calling of the birds and the tranquil water features that run through the spa. And if you want to go to heaven for three hours, the Jamahkiri package comes for just 50 USD. Sculpted around a giant rock, the steam room is the perfect place to begin the treatment, cleansing the body and clearing the sinuses for total invigoration. Try the aloe vera body wrap which envelopes you in a nourishing cream that is hand picked from the fertile garden. Say goodbye to tension and stress with a facial massage and deep cleansing facial mask in our garden area at the centre of the spa.
